Due to the volume of protests received at the Brazos Central Appraisal District (BCAD), the informal reviews will now primarily be held in April and May before formal hearings begin on a regular schedule and on non-hearing days after formal hearings have begun. Informal reviews are open to all Brazos County property owners/agents.
The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).
